Rowing for Women Who Dare

Peregrine Rowing Club was founded to provide opportunities for women aged 40 and over to engage in competitive and recreational rowing. Operating from the historic Catz Boat house, we focus on both performance racing and the pure joy of being on the water.

Whether you're a seasoned rower or picking up an oar for the first time, you'll find a welcoming community that celebrates every stroke forward.

Learn To Row

Never picked up an oar? No problem. Each year we run a dedicated Learn To Row programme designed specifically for complete beginners. Over several weeks, you'll master the fundamentals of rowing technique, build confidence on the water, and discover whether the Peregrine community is right for you.

Our experienced coaches will guide you through everything from your first stroke to rowing as part of a crew. Many of our current members started their rowing journey through this programme.
